Came for a work outing and the boat was great. Left a bit later than the scheduled time and the tacos were delicious! Can't beat the views of the city and helped it was perfect weather that day. The staff was friendly and accommodating, only downside was once we left our area to roam the boat there wasn't anyone there to deter others from getting free drinks/food as they were not part of our party. Otherwise, good times.

It was a good experience, we took the 8pm ride for $25, staff set up the seating if there is enough space upstairs so go early. The food was a bit expensive and drinks. I like the decor, the music was ok, no one was dancing. The views were amazing for two hours it was great. Friendly staff and attentiveness. Parking available but didn't use it.

I had a great evening on the cruise for my nephew's 40th bd celebration. The staff was attentive and the food was really good! The spread included beer, wine, well drinks and a champagne toast. Guests enjoyed shrimp, chickenand beef Tacos. The guacamole was delicious and the music was💣 Thanks to the manager and wait staff for making the 2hrs around the harbor such a wonderful event!

First and foremost I would have to say that our experiences with La Barca was an incredible one we first visited for a birthday celebration in July then met the wonderful Alex (manager) that day and he was incredible he made us feel very welcomed and special because of him I suggested La Barca venue for our 30th High School reunion. I coordinated with my classmates and sold over 50 tickets (sadly because of the weather many didn't get to board the ship as traffic was bad or some were concerned about the weather and decided to cancel) When I was planning this event I got a hold of Rita the Director or F&B and she immediately advised Alex of our gathering we were greeted and escorted to the lower level (as requested) in the front of the ship. Our experience on the boat was amazing the entire team was accommodating so much we decided to stick around for a second sailing. The food was great however was running out pretty quickly we truly had bottomless mimosas and bellini. The DJ was fantastic and catered to our requests we even started a conga line and invited other guests to join even kids :) on behalf of all my fellow classmates of Norman Thomas we thank everyone who made this possible. We had an incredible time the atmosphere was excellent we had so much fun and wherever Alex goes our group will follow. He is a magnificent employee and made our entire event so memorable!!! Thank you to our server Eric the BEST bartender RENE (we brought drinks separate from the brunch) where else can you go for all you can eat food, and bottomless brunch cocktails, music, beautiful views, great atmosphere for 2 hours for $99 it's a no brainer...

I had high expectations but seeing the reviews over time made me doubt. Nevertheless, I wanted to experience it myself. This restaurant is really only for the aesthetics and pictures. The whole boat ride was super fast. The food was simple and bland, lacked a lot of seasoning and authenticity. The service was alright. Unfortunately my server Jayleen N was not so attentive to her tables and would catch her gossiping with co workers and the bartender during her shift. Seemed very distracted. We asked her 3 times to get us water and she somehow forgot and didn’t bring it until the ride was over and my second drink of margarita! The food to arrive at your table was pretty fast but sadly not so good. It’s definitely not worth the moneyyyyy. Total bill was $300+ for a group of 5. I won’t come again at all or recommend anyone. There are better Mexican restaurants in the city to go to. Only reason for 3 stars is for their hospitality and how well the boat presented itself.

So I will get the negative out of the way with intentions of highlighting the amazing positives. I have been on this boat several times, all times were amazing and usual just me and a freind or 2. Enough that I am recognized by some of the crew (which are all amazing to a point that I try to tip all that I interact with. I have a hotel management background and recognize good customer service. Marriott and Hilton are big on recognizing repeat guests...the staff here win for this). As a celebration to end the summer, labor day weekend I decided to bring out some of parent friends as a last lap before back to school. It was group of 10 of us. I tried to buy all ten online and could not purchase. Now remeber my customer service point..Alex, who from my first trip has always been friendly, accommodating, and high energy since my first trip. After my 3rd trip in conversation on one of his rounds checking on my smaller group my plans to bring all came up. He gave me his direct number (nothing unusual in the food and beverage entertainment business to me) and said to give him a call when I planned to do it and would be sure to arrange a space that we could sit together. We'll the number came in handy double time because we couldn't get tickets. He was actually shocked as he sisnt think the count was that high..at least when I called. He told me to come down and would most likely be able to get my party onboard, we could just "pay at the boat". Stood in line like everyone else like normal and things turned weird real quick. I got the vibe that someone was being accused of something underhanded which was far from the case and was quite embarrassed in front of all my professional friends of which not one makes less than 6 figures. At the end after I walked up on the back end of a little management huddle and got an earful of the story..I interrupted and asked and offered an explanation and was told by a woman who appeared to be running things that I could wait until near boarding and if space was available we could board. Well we waited..and with all the attention on us we were allowed to board. This is after EXTRA emphasis was expressed that I could board but I have to go to the window. Again not sure what scrutiny I was under but not a problem because I believe that is what the original plan was lol. On to the positive! The boat is amazing. I've done brunch, I've done the sunset cruise twice and this was my third time. This hands down was my best time. Maybe because I had some of my closest friends with me. The food...AMAZING! We all had different tacos and Quesidias. The steak for both were off the charts. The sweet plantains were perfect. We had to drive back to Ct so we didn't go crazy on drinks. Had a little warm up before our food came one another up on the deck. Joan (sorry if I spelled his name wrong) fantastic and attentive. Food was out fast. Up top, Rnee was a service with a smile bartender with great personality. Lots of space...and of course we got lots of amazing pictures🔥🔥🔥. If you don't like huge crowds, and want a nice dining experience in a fun ambiance..you have to try this boat. At the end I think Alex was as embarrassed as I was but I hold nothing against him. Just sounds like the organization needs to understand the top players. He couldn't apologize enough which is much more than I received outside the accusative vibe I got outside. Dinner and we'll deserved tips to the staff plus tickets we easily spent over 600.00 but it money well spent as two weeks later my friends are still talking about it. Keep up the good work crew..I promise I'll be back and now you have won my friends over too. However, and this is to anyone looking to purchase online..if you can't just don't go..keep your money in your pocket. It gets complicated..and it does quickly. I only took a star away for this process. The boat, the crew, the captain...All amazing🔥🔥🔥 Posting pictures from different cruises to really capture the energy that is consistent. Glad I waited to do this review.

I am absolutely livid with the abysmal experience I had at New York Cruise Lines, Inc. This place is nothing but a scam and a tourist trap! I will never, ever use their services again, and I urge everyone to steer clear of this disaster. Christella Hyacinthe, the so-called Guest Services Agent, was the epitome of incompetence and rudeness. She couldn’t care less about providing decent customer service and left me feeling like I was being scammed from the moment I stepped foot on that boat. I had planned a special boat ride for myself and 20 others, and what a huge mistake that turned out to be! Which inevitably cost the company thousands of dollars this past Friday! Christella provided false information, leading to massive confusion and disappointment. When I tried to get tickets for my partner and myself, it was an absolute nightmare. The hours she referred to were a complete lie, and by the time we could buy tickets, the boat was fully booked. To add insult to injury, the views promised on the cruise were utterly underwhelming. There are far better options out there, with superior scenery, food, and service. This place is a complete rip-off, and I’m fuming at the money I wasted on this awful experience. New York Cruise Lines, Inc., you need a serious reality check and a major overhaul of your customer service. I hope others learn from my mistake and avoid this disgraceful excuse for a cruise company. P.S. don’t get the frozen margarita, it’s plain sugar. To the wait staff on the boat and the other part of the experience, thank you!

Great way to view scenic city line and Statue of Liberty! Everyone was very friendly. It does get chilly but you can freely walk around and go inside to get out of the wind. We did the 8pm cruise and was really cool seeing the city at night coming back to the dock. Food was ok, we had the shrimp tacos (very spicy) and the mushroom tacos (lacked flavor)
